Flamur Bekteshi is currently the Web Administrator and Technical Coordinator for the International Virtual e-Hospital Foundation. Flamur is responsible for designing and updating the Project’s official web page. He also designs, evaluates, and builds the computer networks according to the Telemedicine Program Development Strategy. He has served as the Information Technology Expert at the Telemedicine Centre of Kosova since July 2002. In this role, he compiles strategies to apply IT into the medical care system and prepares technical descriptions for the telemedicine equipment utilized by the TCK.
Flamur is a graduate of University for Business and Technology in Prishtina. He is a Cisco Certified Network Administrator and European Computer Driving License Program Instructor. He utilized this training by adapting the overall course lecture structures and administering all grades for the staff of the Ministry of Health of Kosova and within the Peja Regional Hospital in 2005. Mr. Bekteshi was also awarded a certificate of completion in training for TCP/IP networking, data structures, and object oriented programming from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Prishtina and Xara University – Institute Joan Lluis in Vives, Spain. He attended a one-month course for Telemedicine Principles with the Medical Informatics and Technology Applications Consortium (MITAC), at the NASA Commercial Space Centre. Flamur is currently training to become a Microsoft Certified Application Developer.
